I created a photography piece by taking photographs of a forest in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on a 35mm film camera. Once I developed the black and white film, I used a lighter to burn the edges of the film. I used an Epson Scanner to scan the piece of film and altered the image settings to show the highlights and shadows that came from the burns. This piece represents an the urgency to recognize environmental changes, as wildfires continue to damage ecosystems across the United States.
